Fifteen-year-old RR opener Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has become the first uncapped batter to score over 700 runs in an IPL season. He achieved the feat after scoring 96(47) during Qualifier 2 against GT and has now amassed 776 runs in IPL 2026. Sooryavanshi also became the fastest batter to score 1,000 runs in terms of balls faced in IPL history.
