Vance leads early 2028 Republican prez primary race, Democrats divided: Poll
US VP JD Vance led an early race for 2028 Republican presidential nomination with 33% support among Republican voters, while State Secretary Marco Rubio got 23%, an NYT/Siena survey found. Meanwhile, 45% of Democratic primary voters didn't know who they'd vote for, and only 12% backed Kamala Harris for the nomination. Democratic California Governor Gavin Newsom received 9% support.
