The Varanasi-Ranchi Vande Bharat was stranded for four and a half hours in Bihar due to a malfunction in the brake system of the train. Several attempts were reportedly made to restart the train, but the malfunction prevented it from moving forward. The train later departed after a replacement engine arrived and necessary technical checks were completed.
