The Vande Bharat Express network has seen a substantial rise in passenger numbers, with approximately 3.98 crore travellers in the financial year 2025-26, marking a 34 per cent growth from the previous year. The introduction of sleeper services and increased regional routes are reflecting shifting consumer preferences for modern rail travel across India.
