In a recent episode of “Abhijit Chavda Podcast”, guest Ashwini Upadhyay, shared that initially Vande Mataram was discussed to be the national anthem, but Jawaharlal Nehru opposed the same and Rajendra Prasad intervened and the committee concluded that both ‘Jana Gana Mana’ and ‘Vande Mataram’ will be considered national anthems as per the constitution committee resolution of 24th Jan 1950.
