Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said Vantara will join the state government's petition in the Supreme Court to seek the return of elephant Madhuri. The 36-year-old female elephant, earlier with a Jain math (monastery) in Kolhapur, was relocated to a Vantara-run facility in Jamnagar, following the SC's July 25 order. However, people protested and demanded that Madhuri be brought back.
