Varanasi’s upcoming ropeway project, which is also India’s first urban public transport ropeway, is almost near its completion, and fares have already been finalised. Once completed, travellers will be able to commute from Varanasi Cantt Station to Godowlia in just 15-16 minutes, greatly reducing travel time. The maximum fare for the entire route has been set at ₹50.
