Leicester City forward and former non-league player, Jamie Vardy on Monday launched the V9 Football Academy to provide "Premier League-standard training and coaching" to non-league footballers. The academy, which will run free, week-long courses at Manchester City’s training centre during the close-season, will intake 42 players aged between 17 and 33 as the first batch.
