The Kerala University of Digital Sciences, Innovation, and Technology (KUDSIT) has stepped in to check the adulteration of toddy by geotagging coconut palms in Palakkad's Chittur taluk, where toddy is most tapped in Kerala. KUDSIT is also geotagging vehicles ferrying toddy, "The facility will help the consumer, toddy shop owners, excise and police departments, Vice-Chancellor Saji Gopinath said.
