Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, who sang the original version of the song 'Chunnari Chunnari' featuring Salman Khan and Sushmita Sen, criticised its remake starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. "Varun can't become Salman Khan by doing my songs," he said, adding that the recreated version sounds more like a "bhajan", while the original had a romantic feel.
