Varun's mother suggested him to take bank job before debut: David

Filmmaker David Dhawan said he and his wife Laali thought their son Varun Dhawan should do a bank job instead of acting when he came back from abroad after completing studies. "I asked, 'What do you want to do in life?' Laali said, 'Everyone is taking up a bank job these days.' We never talked about films," David recalled.
