Varun Dhawan was reportedly approached to star in a biopic based on late Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred during the India-Pakistan war in 1971. The film, titled 'Ekkis', will be directed by Sriram Raghavan and produced by filmmaker Dinesh Vijan. Khetarpal, who was martyred at the age of 21, was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra in 1972.
