Senior Advocate Ritin Rai, appearing for Adani Group, told NCLAT that Jaypee Associates' insolvency process was conducted in a fair manner. He argued that Vedanta had participated with full knowledge of its terms and is now seeking to reopen the process by offering a higher bid at a belated stage. Vedanta has challenged authorities' decision to approve Adani's bid.
