Vedanta slips 1.5% ahead of interim dividend decision

Vedanta shares declined as much as 1.54% to ₹257.35 on Thursday ahead of its board meeting to consider the first interim dividend for FY27. The company has fixed October 14 as the record date if the dividend is declared. Vedanta distributed three interim dividends totalling ₹34 per share during FY26.
