Vedanta to complete pilot floating solar plant in 2-3 months

Vedanta has said its group firm Hindustan Zinc plans to complete its first pilot floating solar plant in the next two-three months. The 1 MW solar plant, being developed by Kolkata-based Vikram Solar, is located at Rajasthan's Ghosunda Dam. The solar plant is expected to have an energy yield of 1,993 MWh a year and power 1,400 houses a year.
