Vedanta to make semiconductors in India with iPhone maker Foxconn

Vedanta has signed a memorandum of understanding with Taiwan's Foxconn, which is known for making Apple's iPhones, to manufacture semiconductors in India. Foxconn will invest $118.7 million to set up a joint venture company with Vedanta and the latter will be a majority shareholder of the new venture. Vedanta's Anil Agarwal will be the Chairman of the joint venture.
