Vedanta wins 152-hectare manganese block in Andhra Pradesh

Vedanta has been declared the successful bidder for the 152-hectare Punnam Manganese Block in Andhra Pradesh following an e-auction by the state government. The block is currently at the G4 exploration stage. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Vedanta’s diversified metals and mining portfolio, while supporting domestic manganese resource availability and reducing import dependence.
