Vedantu is in advanced talks to raise $100 million at a valuation of $1 billion, post-money, Moneycontrol reported. Its existing investors, Coatue Management, GGV Capital and Tiger Global, will invest $60 million, while a private equity fund is expected to invest $40 million. Earlier, Vedantu had denied reports saying it was in talks with BYJU'S for an acquisition or merger.
