Vegan diet better than omnivores diet for heart health

Reducing meat consumption contributes to better cardiovascular health however factors like genetics and lifestyle have a different take on it. In a study in JAMA Network with 22 pairs of identical twins, Stanford Medicine researchers, and their colleagues have found that a vegan diet improves cardiovascular health in as little as eight weeks by reducing intake of saturated fats.
