Visuals showing vehicles stuck in kilometres-long traffic jams in several parts of Noida as factory workers' protest turned violent have surfaced online. Several commuters claimed they were stuck for over an hour. Following this, the traffic police also issued an advisory. The protesters have sought a hike of ₹18,000-₹20,000/month in wages, payment of bonuses and higher overtime pay, among others.
