Venezuela's National System of Youth and Children's Orchestras and Choirs, called "El Sistema", has set a Guinness World Record for the largest orchestra with 8,573 musicians playing together, the country's government announced on Saturday. The musicians earned the record following a performance last week. Previously, the record was held by 8,097 musicians who performed together in Russia.
