Verizon Communications, a US-based telecommunication giant has annoucned to reduce its workforce by 4.5% in coming months. The Verizon layoffs will affect 4,800 employees or up to 5,000 by March 2025 amid cost-cutting and restructuring. Half of these employees will be laid off in September 2024, as per reports.
