A 918-metre-long balanced cantilever bridge on Versova creek in Mumbai was opened for vehicular traffic on Monday. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, while providing the information about the development, said the four-lane bridge will provide major "traffic relief to the Mumbai-Surat corridor". The bridge is built at an estimated cost of over ₹247 crore.
