Photographer Fredrik Broms shared a picture of a very rare cloud formation known as "mother-of-pearl", which was spotted in Norway. The colourful cloud derives its name from the inside of a pearl oyster shell and is caused by ice crystals in the stratosphere. They form at extremely cold temperatures, below minus 77°C, and can harm the Earth's ozone layer.
