Actress-producer Pallavi Joshi expressed disappointment at rising emphasis on fashion instead of cinema at Cannes Film Festival. "Everyone wants to be a celebrity...[and] (people with no connection to films) shamelessly come and hog limelight. It's very sad and hurts my heart," she said. She added that apart from Cannes there are festivals that still celebrate art and creativity with sincerity.
