Four-time Nagapattinam MP and veteran communist leader M Selvaraj, who led several protests in support of delta farmers, died in Chennai on Monday, 13 May, sources at a hospital said. He was 67 and is survived by his wife Kamalavathanam and two daughters. Chief Minister MK Stalin said Selvaraj's demise is an irreparable loss to CPI and the people.
