Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Jaipal Reddy passed away on Sunday aged 77 at a private hospital in Hyderabad after suffering from pneumonia. He served as Information and Broadcasting Minister in the IK Gujral government, and was the Urban Development Minister and later served as the Petroleum Minister in Manmohan Singh's government.
