Veteran singer Asha Bhosle passed away on Sunday at the age of 92, her son Anand told HT. The singer was admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital on Saturday after cardiac-related issues. In her career spanning eight decades, she recorded songs in various Indian languages. She was honoured with several prestigious awards, including Dada Saheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan.
