Vodafone Idea (Vi) is turning to Indian network equipment vendors like Tejas Networks, HFCL, and HCLTech to reduce costs and speed up 4G and 5G rollouts, Moneycontrol reported. It has started trialling 4G and 5G wireless equipment from Tejas Networks in one of its circles. HCLTech has been selected to provide self-optimising network technology, while HFCL will supply IP/MPLS routers.
