US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer on Monday announced that its Chief Executive Officer Ian Read will be stepping down at the end of the year. The Viagra maker's shares have risen about 160% since Read took over as CEO in December 2010. Chief Operating Officer Albert Bourla will become the next CEO while Read will serve as Executive Chairman.
