A video showing Congress MLA Alpesh Thakor throwing ₹10 notes from a stage at a folk music event on Saturday night in Gujarat's Patan district has gone viral. Adding that the money will be used for girls' education, Thakor said he is "more or less aware" of RBI guidelines that bar people from showering currency at events.
