Video of Pune trainer aircraft crash falsely linked to IAF

A video purportedly showing people gathered around a crashed plane is viral with false claims that it is footage from an Indian Air Force plane crash in Pune. BOOM found that the video is unrelated to the IAF and is from August 9, 2026, when a trainer aircraft operated by a private company crash-landed at Baramati Airport in Pune district.
