Video shows baby elephant taking first steps as herd clears path

A video shared by IAS officer Supriya Sahu showed a newborn elephant taking her first steps under the watchful eyes of her herd in Odisha’s Keonjhar Forest Division. The tiny calf struggled to find her footing as adult elephants stayed close, appearing to protect her. Moments later, the herd gradually cleared a path, giving the newborn room to move.
