A video showed Haji Afzal, an alleged gangster from Delhi's Seelampur area, attending the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar on July 20. Afzal reportedly has several criminal cases registered against him, including under the MCOCA and for attempted murder, and is currently out on bail. Afzal's wife is an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) municipal councillor from Seelampur.
