Google allegedly laid off a team of 43 contractors working for YouTube Music in Austin, US after the team asked for better pay. A video showed YouTube data analyst Jack Benedict being informed by another company employee that their team was laid off. Jack was speaking at Austin City Council to support his union's negotiations with Google at the time.
