A video shared by Sony Group showed a microsurgery assistance robot stitching up a tiny cut on a corn kernel. The robot replicates the hand movements of a surgeon, who controls the device using a pair of pen-like controllers and observes the real-life effects through a camera system. The robot is expected to reduce surgeon workloads.
