A water pipeline of 1,200 mm diameter burst in Mumbai's Andheri on Wednesday resulting in the leaking water shooting up to a height of approximately eight storeys. The water leakage was stopped by blocking the supply. The exact cause of pipeline burst is not known but it could be possibly because it was an old pipe, a civic official said.
