A video from Congress HQ shows what happened when the full version of the National Song Vande Mataram was played on Independence Day. The clip shows Sonia Gandhi gesturing and speaking to party chief Mallikarjun Kharge while the stanzas played. Rahul Gandhi was seen looking at them. The BJP claimed Sonia was objecting to the full rendition of the song.
