Vice News has released a 12-minute documentary highlighting the abysmal state of mental health system in India. It shows how the stigma of mental illness adversely affects the individual liberties of women patients, making them vulnerable to exploitation by their families and even doctors. India has only 43 state-run mental hospitals for about 78 million people with mental health problems.
