The US Defence Department has released a drone footage showing US troops trying to escape a militant ambush in Niger last year. A total of 46 US and Nigerien troops were ambushed by more than 100 ISIS fighters outside the village of Tongo Tongo. Five Nigerien troops and four US special forces operatives were killed in the ambush.
