Actor Vijay Deverakonda has been booked under SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act over his alleged remarks about tribal people during a movie pre-release event in Hyderabad in April. Deverakonda allegedly compared the terror attack in Pahalgam to tribal wars from 500 years ago while speaking at the event, police said. His remarks were offensive and insulted tribals, the complainant said.
