'Forensic' director Vishal Furia has called actor Vikrant Massey "a very honest and sincere actor". He added that the actor takes the brief, imbibes the character's characteristics and makes his own additions to the role with his input. Vishal further said, "Vikrant...comes across as a next-door guy so every character that he plays becomes relatable to the mass audience."
