Villagers, police celebrate Diwali in Puvarti after Naxal-free status

Sukma police celebrated Diwali with residents of Puvarti, the native village of Maoist commander Madvi Hidma in Chhattisgarh. Notably, Puvarti village was recently declared Naxal-free, reflecting the changing security situation in the region. Earlier in the day, PM Narendra Modi visited the CoBRA Operations Base at Karanpur in Chhattisgarh's Bastar to celebrate Diwali with security personnel.
