Several people in Pune's Pimparkhed village are wearing belts or collars fitted with sharp nails around their necks while working in fields to protect themselves from leopard attacks. Apart from collars, people have installed electric fences around their homes as a precaution. A villager said they spot a leopard everyday and his mother fell prey to one a month ago.
