Vinesh Phogat wins bronze after securing 2020 Olympics berth

Vinesh Phogat, who became the first Indian wrestler to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, clinched bronze in the 53-kg category in the World Wrestling Championships on Wednesday. The 25-year-old defeated two-time world bronze medallist Maria Prevolaraki with the scoreline of 4-1 in the 53-kg category. Earlier today, she defeated American wrestler Sarah Hildebrandt to qualify for the Olympics.
