Ex-India cricketer Vinod Kambli's friend Marcus Couto said Kambli is at a risk of a brain stroke. "He has a clot in his brain, which cannot be removed because he didn't take precautions early," Marcus added. He further said that Kambli's friends are contributing a lot financially, adding, "Sachin is behind the scenes as well, as and when required."
