A 40-year-old Kashipur resident died by suicide in a Haldwani hotel hours after posting a Facebook Live video accusing Udham Singh Nagar police of mental harassment. He claimed pressure over property dispute and demanded CBI inquiry. The clip prompted Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami to order a magisterial inquiry and senior police officers to investigate the allegations.
