A virtual land in The Sandbox metaverse has been sold for $4.3 million (₹32.2 crore), marking the biggest metaverse property sale, The Wall Street Journal reported. Republic Realm, which invests in and develops virtual real estate, made the purchase. Last week, Metaverse Group had set a record by purchasing a patch of digital land for $2.4 million (₹17.8 crore).
