Visakhapatnam's Indira Gandhi Zoological Park (IGZP) unveiled a female black panther for the first time in 40 years, acquired through an animal exchange with Assam state zoo, an official said. The zoo also inaugurated upgraded enclosures for a sloth bear, wolf, jackal, and red-necked wallaby. The rare big cat has been adopted by a 21-month-old, Nihira Malineni.
