Hindustan Shipyard Ltd has begun building two 60-tonne Bollard Pull tugs for Visakhapatnam Port Authority, marking a major step in maritime self-reliance. The vessels, aligned with Maritime India Vision 2030 and Aatmanirbhar Bharat, will guide ships at the same waterfront where they are being constructed, strengthening local industry, MSMEs, and India's indigenous shipbuilding ecosystem.
